The thing I adore about street fairs, aside from the fresh funnel cake, random arts and crafts, and just overall availability of food...is that it's...drumroll please...DOG FRIENDLY. this street fair in particular made me nostalgic to years past, when growing up friends and i would roam the streets of our (not-so-upstate) upstate NY street fair. It was just an invitation to hang out, enjoy the sun, and eat something hot and fattening.
This year's street fair was in Nassau County and was lovely. There was a playground for the older kiddies, and pony rides for the even older kiddies. Love it.
My kids wanted to ride the pony, but were both too young. Yes, I mean both...the baby and the doggie.
